Publication - "Restructuring of City Status by Local Authourities" Report (14 Oct 2008)
Following the briefing on 'Restructuring of City Status by the Local Authorities' in the 1st Penang Local Government Consultative Forum 2008, a working group commissioned by YB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow was formed to study the issue.
The working group was chaired by Dato' (Dr) Anwar Fazal, and members included legal adviser, town planners and local councillors.
This report represents the findings of the working group and is to be presented to the 2nd Penang Local Government Consultative Forum 2008 on 14th October 2008 for further action.
